Another tragic incident in the entertainment world after the sudden passing of Olivia Flowers brother, Conner fighting against Lyme disease that caused his death.
Olivia Flowers opens up about her brother’s death from an accidental overdose of fentanyl on January 30, 2023, at the age of 32.
Conner was a patient of Lyme disease which he had fought over several years treating chronic pain.
Lyme disease is an illness that is caused by the borrelia bacteria which transmits through the bite of an infected tick, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Olivia also mentioned Conner’s Lyme disease symptoms began to be seen when Conner was 15 years old. Depending on the prescription medicine from an early age, he became addicted to medication and began damaging his health internally.
With this addiction, he frequently used to be in and out of rehab.
Olivia Flowers Brother: Conner’s Death Cause
Olivia Flowers brother, Conner Harry Flowers, died on January 30, 2023, at the age of 32 due to a fentanyl overdose which she revealed during an interview with People on November 2023.
Olivia says, “My brother was very lively and loved bringing people together and was the most amazing guy. He was 6 feet 5 inches with the biggest heart she knows.”
Conner hated to talk about his illness and with that, even his close friends didn’t know about his Lyme disease. However, after his death from a fentanyl overdose, people began assuming that he was an addict.
Olivia continued, “Although my brother suffered from the disease since the teenage of 15, he grew up confident and creative and was incredible in golf and as an athlete.”
She also mentions that Conner before was properly tested and diagnosed for his Lyme disease, he experienced several misdiagnoses and unnecessary treatments that had caused him infectious and severe internal damage.
Lastly, she ended her statement by thanking the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society for treating her brother as long as he survived.
Well, the funeral of Conner was held on February 5, 2023, at First United Methodist Church Isle of Palms in Isle of Palms, South Carolina.
